Renew Demat Account Online

You need to renew demat account annually. Optionally you can also renew it for several years at a time. The annual renewal charge/fee for the demat account is Nepalese Rupee (NPR) 100, i.e., you have to pay NPR 100 per year for using the demat account.

How to Renew demat Account Online?

You can renew your demat account from the Web version of Mero Share or Mero Share mobile application.

 Requirements for demat account renewal: -

1.     Computer/Smartphone with an Internet connection

2.     Supported Payment mode with sufficient balance/funds

Renewal of demat account using the computer/smartphone: -

USING COMPUTER

1.  Visit https://meroshare.cdsc.com.np and login to your Mero Share account using valid credentials.

2.  Click on your name available at the top right of the web page and there you will find whether your demat account needs to be renewed or not.

3.  Click on the renew option and you will be directed to the payment methods.

4.  Select "DEMAT" and then the number of years (s) you want to renew your demat account then click on "Proceed" and then you will find several payment options.

5.  Choose the payment method you are ready with and pay the amount.

6.   Finally, you can see your demat account has been renewed in your profile section (as in step 2 above).

USING SMARTPHONE

You can renew demat account using Mero Share Application available for Android OS, Click here to download Mero Share Android Application (App). Or You can renew demat account using an internet browser (example: Chrome) available on your phone.

a.  Using Internet Browser of Smartphone: Follow step 1 to Step 6 as mentioned above.

b. Using Android App: to renew demat account using Mero Share Application, just log in to Mero Share account and follow Step 2 to Step 6 as mentioned above

You can also renew your demat account directly using Khalti wallet, Esewa wallet, etc.

Renew demat account using Khalti:

USING KHALTI WEB VERSION

Login to Khalti wallet and navigate to "Financial Services" and then click on "DEMAT MeroShare" and choose your broker/capital or search your broker/capital in the search box and click on your broker/capital result. Here I have chosen Crystal Kanchanjunga Securities. And then fill in the required details and click on the "PAY" button at the bottom after choosing your preferred payment method.

USING KHALTI MOBILE APPLICATION

Just run/open Khalti App and login and follow the same procedures as mentioned above in KHALTI WEB VERSION...

Renew demat account using Esewa:

USING COMPUTER

Login to your Esewa account and then click on "Financial Services" available on the left of the page and then click on "Capital Market" available on the top of the page and then choose your capital/broker from the list or search in the search bar and the click on your broker/capital name/logo and then choose "Demat Renew" from the drop-down menu and follow the further steps.

USING SMARTPHONE  

Using Esewa Mobile Application

Login to your Esewa account and find and click on "Financial Services" and then click on "Meroshare and Demat Renew" icon then you will be directed to Meroshare login page, log in to your meroshare account, and proceed.

Using Mobile Internet Browser (e.g., chrome) without Esewa Mobile Application

Follow the same steps as mentioned at the top of the page under "USING COMPUTER" (Step 1 to Step 6)
